Inspire Labs respects and value the privacy of everyone who visits this website: labs.inspire.co.uk (“Website”) and will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with Inspire Labs obligations and your rights under the law.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you understand it properly, because your acceptance of this Privacy Policy is requested.

    In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meanings:

    means an account required to access and/or use certain areas and features of the Website; and

    “Cookie”

    means a small text file placed on your computer or device by our Website when you visit certain parts of our Website and/or when you use certain features of our Website. Details of the Cookies used by our Website are set out in Part 14, below; and

    “Cookie Law”

    means the relevant parts of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

  3. What Does This Policy Cover?

    This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Inspire Labs collects and processes information from members and users of the Website, software applications, and other online services we provide (collectively “Inspire Labs’s products”). Inspire Labs’s products include, but are not limited to, the Inspire Labs extension for web browsers (the “Extension”) and the website located at getmindfulmeets.com. According to the previously stated, this Privacy Policy applies only to your use of our Website and Extension.

  4. What Is Personal Data?

    Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) (the “GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (collectively, “the Data Protection Legislation”) as ‘any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly’.

    Personal data is, in simpler terms, any information about you that enables you to be identified. Personal data covers obvious information such as your name and contact details, but it also covers less obvious information such as identification numbers, electronic location data, and other online identifiers.

    Under the Data Protection Legislation, you have the following rights, which Inspire Labs will always work to uphold:

    1. The right to be informed about Inspire Labs collection and use of your personal data. This Privacy Policy should tell you everything you need to know, but you can always contact Inspire Labs to find out more or to ask any questions using the details in Part 15.

    2. The right to access the personal data Inspire Labs holds about you. Part 13 will tell you how to do this.

    3. The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal data held by Inspire Labs is inaccurate or incomplete. Please contact Inspire Labs using the details in Part 15 to find out more.

    4. The right to be forgotten, i.e. the right to ask Inspire Labs to delete or otherwise dispose of any of your personal data that Inspire Labs holds. Please contact Inspire Labs using the details in Part 15 to find out more.

    5. The right to restrict (i.e. prevent) the processing of your personal data. You have the right to ask Inspire Labs to stop any active processing of your personal data while Inspire Labs seeks to verify data you claim is inaccurate, while we verify the legitimate interests, or while Inspire Labs cannot erase that data due to legal obligations.

    6. The right to object Inspire Labs using your personal data for a particular purpose or purposes.

    7. The right to withdraw consent. This means that, if Inspire Labs is relying on your consent as the legal basis for using your personal data, you are free to withdraw that consent at any time.

    8. The right to data portability. This means that, if you have provided personal data to Inspire Labs directly, which is using it with your consent or for the performance of a contract, and that data is processed using automated means, you can ask Inspire Labs for a copy of that personal data to re-use with another service or business in many cases.

    9. Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. Inspire Labs will be using Google Analytics for profiling.

    It is important that your personal data is kept accurate and up-to-date. If any of the personal data Inspire Labs holds about you changes, please keep us informed as long as Inspire Labs has that data.

    Further information about your rights can also be obtained from the Information Commissioner’s Office or your local Citizens Advice Bureau.

    If you have any cause for complaint about use of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Inspire Labs would welcome the opportunity to resolve your concerns first, so please contact Inspire Labs, using the details in Part 15.

  6. What Data Do You Collect and How?

    Depending upon your use of our Inspire Lab’s products, Inspire Labs may collect and hold some or all of the personal data set out in the table below, using the methods also set out in the table. Please also see Part 14 for more information about the use of Cookies and similar technologies and our Cookie Policy: https://www.cookiebot.com/en. Inspire Labs do not collect any ‘special category’ or ‘sensitive’ personal data, data relating to criminal convictions and/or offences.

    Inspire Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If Inspire Labs determines we have collected personal information from a child younger than 13 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal information through the Inspire Labs’s products. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information through the Inspire Labs’s products without their permission.

    As mentioned above, Inspire Labs also collects technical information about your device and use of Inspire Labs’s Products to make sure that our products are working correctly. The information we collect is geared to providing our members with a better way to use Inspire Labs’s products and to help us develop, improve, and market our services. Inspire Labs automatically collects information using Google Analytics to ensure that Inspire Labs’s products work correctly on different devices and browsers. This includes data like the type of device you’re using, the device’s unique ID (where available), operating system, browser type, IP address, event stamp and error logs. This data allows Inspire Labs to make sure that Inspire Labs’s products are working correctly, to make your experience better, and to detect and prevent fraud.

    With your permission and/or where permitted by law, Inspire Labs may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email with information, news, and offers on our Inspire Labs’s products. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. Inspire Labs will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with obligations under the Data Protection Legislation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.

    Inspire Labs will only use your personal data for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected unless Inspire Labs reasonably believes that another purpose is compatible with that or those original purpose(s) and need to use your personal data for that purpose. If Inspire Labs does use your personal data in this way and you wish to explain how the new purpose is compatible with the original, please contact Inspire Labs using the details in Part 15.

    If Inspire Labs needs to use your personal data for a purpose that is unrelated to, or incompatible with, the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, Inspire Labs will inform you and explain the legal basis.

    In some circumstances, where permitted or required by law, Inspire Labs may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent. This will only be done within the bounds of the Data Protection Legislation and your legal rights.

  8. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?

    Inspire Labs will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Inspire Labs only retains information about you as long as you keep using Inspire Labs’s products and will also keep information if Inspire Labs needs it to meet our legal obligations and to defend against legal claims.

    We will delete any personal information we have, though we may still store some data in an aggregated and anonymized format that doesn’t identify you and can’t be attributed to you (or if we’re legally required).

  9. How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?

    Inspire Labs will store or transfer some of your personal data within the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the Data Protection Legislation.

    The security of your personal data is essential to Inspire Labs and to protect your data, Inspire Labs takes a number of important measures, including the following:

    • limiting access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties with a legitimate need to know and ensuring that they are subject to duties of confidentiality;

    • procedures for dealing with data breaches (the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, your personal data) including notifying you and/or the Information Commissioner’s Office where legally required to do so;

    Inspire Labs will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to the following exception.

    If Inspire Labs will sell, transfer, or merge parts of the business or assets, your personal data may be transferred to a third party. Any new owner of the business may continue to use your personal data in the same way(s) that Inspire Labs have used it, as specified in this Privacy Policy.

    In addition to your rights under the Data Protection Legislation, set out in Part 5, when you submit personal data via Inspire Labs’s products, you may be given options to restrict the use of your personal data. In particular, Inspire Labs aims to give you strong controls on the use of your data for direct marketing purposes (including the ability to opt-out of receiving emails from Inspire Labs which you may do by unsubscribing using the links provided in the emails at the point of providing your details and by managing your Account).

  12. Can I Withhold Information?

    You may access certain areas of our Website without providing any personal data at all. However, to use all features and functions available you may be required to submit or allow for the collection of certain data.

    If you want to stop using Inspire Labs’s products, we have instructions on how to uninstall the Extension on our Website and if you have any issues you can contact our support team for assistance by sending an email to hello@getmindfulmeets.com.

    If you would like to delete your profile or personal information, you can always ask us by emailing hello@getmindfulmeets.com. We will delete any personal information we have, though we may still store some data in an aggregated and anonymized format that doesn’t identify you and can’t be attributed to you (or if we’re legally required).

  13. How Can I Access My Personal Data?

    If you want to know what personal data Inspire Labs has about you, you can ask for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.

    All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to the email or postal addresses shown in Part 15. To make this as easy as possible for you, you can just send Inspire Labs an email asking for details of your personal data (subject access request”). It is the easiest way to tell Inspire Labs everything and to respond to your request as quickly as possible.

    There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover the administrative costs in responding.

    Inspire Labs will respond to your subject access request in less than one month and, in any case, not more than one month of receiving it. Normally, Inspire Labs will aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time. In some cases, however, particularly if your request is more complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of three months from the date of your request. You will be kept fully informed of the progress.

  14. How Do You Use Cookies?

    Our Website may place and access certain first-party Cookies on your computer or device. First-party Cookies are those placed directly by Inspire Labs and are used only by Inspire Labs.

    Inspire Labs uses Cookies to facilitate and improve your experience of Inspire Labs’s products and to provide and improve our services. Inspire Labs have carefully chosen these Cookies and have taken steps to ensure that your privacy and personal data is protected and respected at all times.

    • Analytics: These types of cookies help Inspire Labs monitor the traffic and activity on our site, and to coordinate our own marketing campaigns. While they do not identify you specifically, they may be indirectly linked to your unique user ID.     As mentioned above, Inspire Labs’s products use analytics services provided by Google Analytics. Website analytics refers to a set of tools used to collect and analyse anonymous usage information, enabling Inspire Labs to better understand how the Website and Feature are used. This, in turn, enables Inspire Labs to improve offered Inspire Labs’s products.

    The analytics service uses Cookies to gather the required information. You do not have to allow Inspire Lab to use these Cookies, however whilst the use of them does not pose any risk to your privacy or your safe use of Inspire Labs’s products, it does enable Inspire Labs to continually improve Inspire Labs’s products, making it a better and more useful experience for you.

    In addition to the controls that Inspire Labs provides, you can choose to enable or disable Cookies in your internet browser.     Inspire Labs may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or because of the change of the business in a way that affects personal data protection.Any changes will be immediately posted on our Website and you will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the Privacy Policy on your first use of our Website following the alterations.
